Don't allow Congress to open its account in Karnataka: PM Modi

2 min read

Narendra Modi’s superstitious streak? Just as he did in 2019, and hours before the EC poll announcement, Prime Minister Narendra Modi kick started his poll campaign in Kalaburgi with a searing indictment of the Siddaramaiah government’s misgovernance.

Mounting attack on the Congress Party for tarnishing the image of ‘Bharath’ outside the country, Prime Minister Narendra Modi called upon the people not to allow the Congress Party to open its account in Karnataka.

Addressing a rally in Kalaburgi on Saturday at 1 pm, he said while the BJP has accepted the ideology and principles of the 12th social reformer Basavanna and named the new parliament building as 'Karya Mantapa' by drawing inspiration from the 'Anubhava Mantapa' started by Jagajyothi Basavanna,  the Congress leaders were discrediting Basavanna by talking against basic tenets of democracy. “The Congress party must be taught a lesson“ by not allowing it to open the account in the parliamentary polls.

Claiming that Karnataka has become an ATM for the Congress Party,  Modi said the resources  collected from the people were going towards the party and a Pariwar. The Congress Party has been the mother of corruption in the country and it was the oxygen for that party to survive.

The people of Karnataka vote  for the Congress Party thinking that it has changed but it is wrong as they had started looting with more vigour because of their hunger for money. The looted money from Karnataka would go to the Delhi Pariwar.

“Did you vote for the Congress Party for this purpose? Have they done any development in the last 8-10 months? Their main agenda was to loot as much as possible.”

Sporting the traditional 'Mysore Peta:, the PM, without mentioning the AICC President Mallikarjuna Kharge, said a big leader from this place has already declared " Ab Ki Modi Sarkar, 400 paar' in Rajya Sabha. The people of the country were waiting for the parliamentary polls to vote for the BJP for the betterment of the country and the coming generation. Unable to digest this, the Congress netas were into  open vilification of India.

he people are very careful and observing everything silently and will give a fitting reply at the right time. "You give the maximum number of BJP from Karnataka to build a strong fence around the parliament.  I will get every inch of information about what's happening in Karnataka and take necessary steps to check corruption".

Training his verbal guns on the Congress government in the State, Modi said promises made before the Assembly polls have not been implemented. The free electricity supply scheme had been running into trouble due to non-supply of power to the IP sets without which farmers cannot grow crops.

In the name of implementing guarantees the state government was left with no money for development works. Farmers are not getting monthly stipends  from the State Government and scholarship for the students has stopped. The state treasury is empty due to relentless looting of money by the ruling Congress Party.

Senior BJP leader B.S.Yediyurapa, State BJP President B.Y.Vijendra, former CM Basavaraj Bommai and others were present at the PM’s rally.
